CREUSABRO

Description

The Creusabro range is produced using a manufacturing process and metallurgy that differ from low-carbon martensitic abrasion-resistant steels. In-service wear resistance is significantly enhanced by a surface hardening effect of +70 HB, triggered by local plastic deformation caused by rock impacts or the pressure of abrasive particles. This reaction is known as the TRIP effect (Transformation Induced Plasticity).
