Description
The SRDC 350 is an innovative, patented hydraulic truck unloader. It consists of a steel hopper capable of holding 35 tonnes of bulk material and a belt extractor that can discharge up to 700 tonnes of solid bulk material (at a density of 1.5) per hour. The operating principle is simple: a dump truck discharges its load into the SRDC 350’s hopper. Once the truck has pulled away, the hopper tilts using hydraulic cylinders, and the attached extractor connects to a connecting conveyor to discharge the stored material. The cycle time is 5 minutes. This product is designed to save space on cramped sites; it eliminates the need for large ramps required to unload into above-ground hoppers or the pits needed for underground hoppers. The SRDC 350 also eliminates the need for loader re-handling when transferring bulk material from trucks to trains, ships, etc.
